It isn’t uncommon for property owners to gravitate toward white or pastels when painting small rooms. The belief is that these light tones help brighten the room and make it appear spacious. However, some may not realize that they don’t have to lock into light tones for a small room. When painting small rooms, using dark shades gives the space interest because, as the light changes in the room, so does the paint’s tone.
